the future of Westmeria...

We plan to build on what we have got and add to our services as hopefully our funding increases. Our Tools for Life group sessions are proving to be a great success. These consist of 6 sessions each lasting 1 1/2 hours for which we make a small charge to cover costs. These cover the subjects of anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem and confidence and help to prevent future episodes by teaching you new strategies and coping skills and will include some breathing and relaxation techniques. For more information please contact Kate Comens, group facilitator.

Private Counselling Service:

We have now introduced a private arm to our service for those who do not want to wait, have specific timings or can afford to pay for their therapy. The cost of this is subsidised to enable it to be more affordable than private counselling elsewhere. This service will help our charitable part of the service to enable us to reduce our waiting list and boost our funding stream.

We have a wealth of specialities amongst our staff to include working with young adults,
bereavement, anxiety, stress, anger, depression, relationship work, a background of nursing and, in this private arm, all of our counsellors are well qualified and experienced.

Corporate:

In order for us to continue and expand we are constantly looking for new corporate partnerships.

Should you be interested in how this can help your company at the same time as helping us to make a difference in the community we would be happy to meet, discuss and present ourselves to you.   Please contact our CEO, Sue Doughty -  sdoughty@westmeriacounselling.co.uk
